Schedules
Run jobs automatically on a fixed interval (every plan) or a calendar pattern (Pro and higher) — specific days, dates, and times.

#Basic scheduling
Basic scheduling is included on every plan: Fixed interval — runs every N minutes (1 to 1,440). Any job can also be started with Run now. Enable the schedule on the job, and the scheduler runs it in the background. The job list shows each enabled job's next run so you can confirm a schedule at a glance.
#Advanced calendar scheduling
Advanced scheduling adds calendar schedules at a set time of day:
- Daily calendar — Runs every N days at a set time, with an optional start date.
- Weekly calendar — Runs every N weeks on a chosen weekday at a set time, with an optional start date.
- Monthly calendar — Runs on chosen days of the month at a set time.
This suits business calendars — month-end runs, weekly feeds, and off-hours batches. If a plan change removes advanced scheduling, calendar-scheduled jobs keep their settings and can still be started with Run now, but they don't run on schedule until you switch them to a fixed interval or upgrade.
#Time zone and host clock
Schedules fire in the FileAgent host's local time. Confirm the host's clock and time zone are correct so jobs run when you expect. If a job's next run is blank, the schedule isn't enabled or saved.
#Scheduling tips
- Stagger heavy jobs so several don't start at the same minute.
- Schedule around busy windows on your source and destination systems.
- Remember the host must be on at the scheduled time — a sleeping host misses its window entirely.
